Day 1
Kusilluchayoc – Temple of the Moon – Zone X – Devil’s Balcony
- Hotel Pick-up: Our guide will visit you at your hotel to provide instructions and details about the horseback riding tour.
- Transfer to the Ranch: We take private transport to the ranch near Villa San Blas, on the outskirts of Cusco.
- Meet the Arriero & Horses: At the ranch, you’ll meet the local horseman (Arriero) and get acquainted with the horses.
- Safety Briefing: The guide will demonstrate how to handle the horse, use safety equipment such as helmets, and review first-aid procedures.
- Horseback Ride: Begin the journey riding through key archaeological sites:
- Kusilluchayoc: Known as the Temple of the Monkeys, an ancient ceremonial site.
- Temple of the Moon: A mystical place used by the Incas for rituals connected to lunar cycles.
- Zone X (Lanlacuyoc): A mysterious labyrinth of caves and rock formations.
