Itinerary
Day 1
Cusco – Maras – Moray – Cusco
- 09:00 am: Pick-up from your hotel in Cusco and transfer to the town of Maras, where we meet the horses and horseman.
- Briefing: Safety instructions and orientation before starting the ride.
- Maras Salt Mines: Visit the impressive salt ponds carved into the mountainside, in use since the time of the Incas.
- Scenic Ride: Continue along dirt trails surrounded by fields, local villages, and the snowy peaks of the Andes.
- Moray: Explore the archaeological complex at 3,200 m.a.s.l., where concentric circular terraces recreated diverse agricultural microclimates.
- Return: Around 3:00 pm, return transfer to Cusco.
