Itinerary
Day 1
Cusco – Huaypo Lake – Piuray Lake
We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco and drive for about 50 minutes to Cruzpata, passing through beautiful Andean towns and landscapes. Upon arrival, our guide will provide a safety briefing and demonstrate the proper use of ATVs and safety equipment. After practicing for a few minutes, we’ll begin our adventure towards the twin lakes.
Our first stop will be at Huaypo Lake, whose crystalline waters reflect the surrounding mountains and crops. Here, we’ll learn about local legends, including stories of UFO sightings and mysterious lights deep within the lake.
We’ll continue riding through Chinchero town until we reach Piuray Lake, home to migratory birds. Finally, we’ll head to the “Viewpoint of the 5 Snow-Capped Mountains,” where you’ll marvel at the majestic peaks that guard the Sacred Valley.
We will return to Cruzpata to drop off the ATVs and then drive back to Cusco.
