Itinerary

Day 1

Cusco – Pisac – Calca – Abra Amparaes – Lares

At 9:00 am, we meet at Cusco’s Plaza de Armas and board our private transport heading northeast. After a 40-minute drive, we arrive at the town of Pisac for a guided explanation of its main attractions. We then continue for 20 minutes to Calca, where you will enjoy a box lunch.

Next, we visit the archaeological site of Ancashmarca, an impressive example of Inca architecture. By noon, we ascend towards the Abra Amparaes (4,580 m.a.s.l.), arriving around 12:30 pm. Here, your bikes will be checked and adjusted for comfort before beginning the descent at 1:00 pm.

The ride takes approximately 3.5 hours through picturesque villages, snow-capped peaks, and Andean valleys. We arrive at Lares, where you can relax in its natural medicinal hot springs. Afterwards, enjoy a traditional Andean dinner and spend the night in camping tents.

Day 2: Lares – Cusco

At 7:00 am, wake up to a delicious Andean breakfast. After a final dip in the hot springs (optional), we take our private transport back to Cusco, arriving around 10:30 am.
