Itinerary
Day 1
Cusco – Urubamba River – Cusco
At 9:00 am, we depart from Cusco towards the Urubamba River in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Upon arrival, your professional rafting guide will provide an introductory safety briefing and instructions on how to use the rafting equipment.
We will spend approximately 2.5 hours on the river, navigating rapids ranging from Class II to Class V depending on the selected route.
After completing the rafting experience, we will enjoy a well-deserved lunch. In the afternoon, we return to Cusco, arriving around 5:00 pm.

Do I need previous rafting experience?
No previous experience is required. Our professional guides provide full safety instructions before the activity and accompany you throughout the adventure.
What should I bring?

Is rafting safe?
Yes. Safety is our top priority. We provide complete protective gear and an additional safety kayak guide for more challenging sections.
What is the best season for rafting in Cusco?
The Urubamba River offers rafting year-round, but the best season depends on water levels:
- May – December: Ollantaytambo section (Class III)
- December – May: Quiquijana & Chuquicahuana (Class III–V)
