- Cusco Cathedral: Begin your journey at the Cathedral of Cusco, along with the Church of the Triumph and the Church of the Holy Family, masterpieces of colonial architecture and home to priceless art collections.
- Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun): The most important temple in the Inca Empire, dedicated to Inti, the Sun God. Today, the temple forms part of the Santo Domingo Convent, showcasing Inca foundations with Spanish colonial construction above.
- Sacsayhuamán: A monumental fortress built with enormous carved stones, some reaching 9 meters high and weighing over 350 tons, offering breathtaking views of Cusco.
- Qenqo: A ceremonial site with labyrinthine passages, an amphitheater, and a monolith in the shape of a puma. It was a sacred place dedicated to religious rituals.
- Puka Pukara: Known as the “Red Fortress” due to its stone color, it served as a military post and a resting place for travelers and Inca nobles, with aqueducts, fountains, and multiple enclosures.
- Tambomachay: Also called the “Baths of the Inca,” this site was dedicated to the worship of water and the rest of Inca rulers. It features finely engineered aqueducts, canals, and waterfalls that still flow perfectly today.
