Cusco – Sacred Valley – Aguas Calientes

  2. Pisac Market: Visit the famous Andean handicraft fair.
  3. Pisac Archaeological Site: Guided tour of its terraces and temples.
  4. Urubamba: Lunch stop (optional, $20 USD per person).
  5. Ollantaytambo: Explore the fortress and town still inhabited by Inca descendants.
  6. 03:30 PM: Train to Aguas Calientes (arrival around 5:00 PM).
  7. Overnight: Hotel stay in Aguas Calientes.

Day 2

Machu Picchu – Cusco

  1. 05:30 AM: Bus to Machu Picchu.
  2. 06:00 AM: Witness the sunrise at Machu Picchu.
  3. Guided Tour: 2-hour explanation of the citadel’s main areas.
  4. Free Time: Explore independently or hike to the Sun Gate or Inca Bridge. (Optional: Huayna Picchu/Machu Picchu Mountain for $25 USD).
  5. Return: Bus down to Aguas Calientes, then train back to Ollantaytambo.
  6. 08:00 PM: Arrival in Cusco.
